Planet Games and Gadgets in Trowbridge has closed its doors, with mystery surrounding the reason why.
The gaming company, based in The Shires shopping centre, advertised for more part-time and weekend staff in September, but only two months later the shelves have been left bare.
But after trying to contact the company to find out why the Trowbridge store has suddenly closed, the Times has had no success. The company’s head office phone number appears to be invalid.
The Times has also been unable to make contact with the Frome store.
"There's no way they have closed this must be a joke?" said Claire Osbourse.
"I'm in the process of sorting out a return/refund over some drifting joy-cons. They were open a week and a bit ago."
"They had a sale and were literally shut the next day," added Kayleigh Ramplin.
Evolve Estates, which manages The Shires shopping centre, has been contacted for more information regarding Planet Games' closure.
