- Trowbridge Debt Advice Service, 55 Stallard Street, Tuesdays 9am-9pm and Wednesdays 9am-5pm ONLY
As usual, the Wiltshire Times is supporting the Salvation Army's annual appeal.
Salvation Army Trowbridge Church Leader, Michala Lancefield, said: “We are so grateful to the managers, community champions and staff at each g location for the help and support they give us each year.
“They make it very easy for members of the public to donate toys to our appeal and so help those most in need at Christmas time.”
There will also be two opportunities to take gifts directly to The Salvation Army Hall in Castle Street, Trowbridge, on:
- Friday, December 1 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm
- Saturday, December 2 between 10am and 2pm.
The Salvation Army is collecting brand new unwrapped toys and gifts for children aged 0-18 years. Church members and volunteers will then sort and package the gifts, ready for distribution to families through their contacts with social services.
Michala added: “We are humbled by the generosity of the people of our area, without whom so many children would have nothing at all for Christmas.
“You are all stars, so we want to thank you all in advance of this year’s appeal for the kindness we are sure you will show once again to those most in need.”
