Managers of The Shires shopping centre in Trowbridge are hoping a change to one of its empty retail units will make it more attractive to potential buyers or tenants.
Floral displays outside the shop have been removed to enable workers to install two new windows.
A spokesperson for The Shires says the unit has already attracted interest from potential buyers and tenants now the new windows have been installed on the Castle Street frontage.
The retail property – unit 1 – is situated next to the Castle Street entrance to The Shires and is currently being marketed for sale or to let.
The Shires is Trowbridge’s main shopping centre and forms part of the prime retailing pitch, linking into pedestrianised Fore Street and the Castle Street improvements.
The centre is anchored by Iceland with other national occupiers present including Peacocks, Poundland, Body Shop, Bonmarche and JD Sports.
Centre owners London & Cambridge Properties have engaged commercial property agents Carter Jonas and Rawstron Johnson in Bristol to market the unit.
They say: “It occupies a prominent location within popular retail parade with one hour free public parking and would be ideal for restaurant/food takeaway use.”
