Hundreds of people came together on the morning of Good Friday to mark the occasion via a march of witness.
Attendees visited Trowbridge town centre for the event to reflect on one of the most important beliefs in Christianity, the belief that Jesus died and rose again.
The march began at St James’ Church, on Church Street, and stopped at five different points throughout the town centre where people had the opportunity to pray, sing and tell the story of Easter.
The Salvation Army band was also in attendance and provided music while Easter eggs and cards were handed out to bystanders.
Refreshments were also provided at the march’s end point, at the war memorial.
The march was organised by Church Action Trowbridge Area (CATA) and their chair, David Ross, was pleased to see such a high turnout.
He said: “It was great to see so many people join together on a day when Christians around the world stop, pause and reflect on the fact that Jesus was crucified and rose again on Easter Sunday.
“We’re here together to say thank you to God and to acknowledge his goodness to us all.”
