Wiltshire’s bin collection dates for the upcoming Easter bank holiday weekend have been announced.
And there will be no changes to waste and recycling collections, which will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
All 10 of Wiltshire's Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) will revert to their summer opening hours from April 1.
Wiltshire residents will be able to visit the HRCs from 9am rather than 10am on each day they’re open.
Trowbridge and Stanton St Quinton HRCs will also be open for an additional day a week.
From April 1, Stanton St Quinton HRC will also be open on Fridays.
Last week it was revealed new bin collection rules are planned nationwide by the government, but it is not yet clear when they will be adopted in Wiltshire.
The new rules will mean councils could be ordered to arrange the separate collection of six types of recyclable waste - plastic bottles, glass bottles and jars, papers and cardboard, metal packaging, food waste and garden waste.
The act also requires food waste collection must take place at least once a week.
In addition, government wants councils to collect garden waste for free but give them the right to charge for this beyond the basic service.
Cabinet member for Environment and Climate Change Nick Holder said earlier this week he was concerned the new rules will cost the council even more money.
