Wiltshire Police have been on the lookout for speeding drivers in a number of villages this week.
Officers from the Chippenham and Corsham neighbourhood policing team armed with radar speed guns were out in force on Wednesday (February 15).
Kington Langley, Sutton Benger and Lower Seagry were among the villages they visited to enforce speed limits.
And their presence may have done the trick, with officers reporting no motorists were caught travelling over the speed limit and no tickets were issued.
Locals seemed to appreciate the fact police were enforcing the speed limit in Sutton Benger, where two young boys gave the officers cookies.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “On Wednesday, February 15, officers from the Chippenham and Corsham neighbourhood policing team were active enforcing speed limits in Kington Langley, Sutton Benger and Lower Seagry.
“Whilst conducting speed checks in Sutton Benger, two local boys gave the officers cookies as a thank you.
“All vehicles were travelling within the speed limit and no tickets were issued.”
