A WEEK of celebrations for the coronation of King Charles III is to take place in Trowbridge next year.
Trowbridge Town Council is working with key partners, including local schools, to provide a week of events between May 1 and 8.
Other partners include Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce, Trowbridge Women’s’ Shed, Avon Valley Runners, Stampede Sports, Community Grow and many more.
A spokeswoman said: “The council is also on the lookout for community groups or individuals who would like to create bunting, flags and yarn bombing to decorate our town.”
The move comes after the council was criticised by some residents for staging few events or to put up bunting to celebrate Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
