RUNNERS from all over the county and beyond are being urged to sign up for this year’s 10th anniversary of the Avon Valley Runners Wiltshire Half Marathon.
This always popular race is run by up to 450 athletes of all abilities through the villages and lanes surrounding Trowbridge.
The event is managed by the Avon Valley Runners community and a large proportion of the proceeds are donated to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance charity.
The event will take place at 11am on Sunday, November 27 this year and to celebrate the occasion all participants will receive a special 10th anniversary race t-shirt, alongside a medal and beer.
AVR race directors Vicky Bodman and Hayley Anderson said: "We're really excited that we are able to offer our participants an extra special memento for our 10th year as it's such a special event for us and Avon Valley Runners."
The race starts at Edington Station Yard, a small trading estate near Edington. To sign up to run in the AVR Wiltshire Half Marathon please click here.
