DIVISION ONE: Steeple Ashton missed out on the chance to finish third in the table when they lost 5-3 away to Frome Town Sports.
The Somerset side got off to the perfect start as they scored inside 10 minutes through Lee Collier.
It became 2-0 six minutes later as Collier scored his second and just before half-time he completed his hat-trick to make it 3-0.
The second period started just as badly as the first did for Ashton as they found themselves 4-0 down as Paul Daly scored.
Neil Taylor's men then started a revival as they scored their first through the ever dependable Guy Rowley to make it 4-1. Dean Gumm made it 4-2 midway through the half before Rowley scored his second to set up a tense last 10 minutes with the score at 4-3.
Frome's nerves however were settled when Joe Upshall scored to make the final score 5-3.
