A historic steam locomotive is set to chug through Swindon once again to the delight of rail enthusiasts.
Bahamas is set to haul the Cotswold Venturer on August 27, the last of the yearly special trains that go to Worcester from London.
The locomotive is part of the Jubilee class which was designed for the London and Midland Scottish Railway between 1934 and 1936.
191 locomotives were built at various locations including Crewe and Derby works and the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow.
The Cotswold Venturer was due to be hauled by Merchant Navy Class Clan Line a Southern Locomotive.
However, the engine is currently out of service with minor cracking in the firebox.
Bahamas wowed steam lovers in June when it passed through Swindon with another charter train.
The Cotswold Venturer is being run by the Railway Touring Company and will be using the following route: London Paddington at 715am, Slough, Reading, Didcot, Swindon, Kemble, and Cheltenham before arriving at Worcester at 13:10.
The return leg will see the train leave Worcester at roughly 4.30pm for London via the same route before re-joining the GW mainline at Swindon.
Full timings have not been released, however, the Railway Touring Company has issued approximate timings on its website.
