THE Conservative MP for Devizes Danny Kruger has announced who he is backing to be the next Prime Minister.
Mr Kruger took to Twitter page at 9:38pm last night to declare his support for Attorney General Suella Braverman.
He said he has three tests: "policy, character and electability".
"Policy - what will they do as PM? Character - do they have the capability, courage and integrity required of a leader? Electability - can they connect with the public, and help us win the next election?", he said.
I'm backing Suella Braverman. Here's why.

I have three tests: Policy - what will they do as PM? Character - do they have the capability, courage and integrity required of a leader? Electability - can they connect with the public, and help us win the next election?
"On policy, Suella is committed to the economic and social vision I believe in: not just a smaller state with lower taxes, but a bigger society with stronger families, kinder communities and a more local, more human public sector."
He added: "On character, Suella has proven she has the courage to stand up for what she believes - in voting against 'Brexit in name only' in the Meaningful Votes, but also in government when she has fought to amend the NI Protocol, and battled to ensure we can protect our borders.
"On electability, Suella is what you see: a hard-working, articulate British Asian woman from an ordinary background, with an extraordinary talent. She is gracious, gentle, unshowy - but inspirational about her belief in our country & the need for honest, visionary leadership."
Suella Braverman MP has been the Attorney General for England and Wales since 2020 and has been Member of Parliament for Fareham since 2015.
She recently caused a stir by saying that the fact that Boris Johnson's flights to Rwanda were cancelled shows why the UK should leave the European Court of Human Rights.
She believes it is necessary to "take back control of our borders," the Daily Mail reported.
In a recent a Telelgraph article Mrs Braverman said: "A government I lead will move heaven and earth to get us back on track."
On current caretaker PM Boris Johnson, she says he "got a lot right", adding: "We got Brexit done, we got through the pandemic, had the fastest vaccine rollout, and got the economy up and running quickly.
"For this, our Prime Minister deserves recognition."
