Traffic on part of the M4 between Swindon and Bristol is at a standstill as queues grow for Badminton Horse Trials.
One of the biggest fixtures in the eventing calendar, the trials started on Wednesday and are due to finish on Sunday.
The build-up of traffic is starting several miles before the turn-off to the A46 to Badminton. Traffic is also stacked up on the country roads through Luckington, and Acton Turville.
Every year, thousands flock to the event at the park of Badminton House to see the top riders in eventing dressage, cross country and showjumping.
The usual attendance for the trials is 200,000 people.
