Sing and Breathe Wiltshire, the weekly singing group for people with lung conditions has been shortlisted in the Award for Best Local Prescribing Project in the Social Prescribing Network Awards 2022.
With Covid affecting the lungs of many people, there have been more participants who are living with Long Covid, using singing to improve their breathing and lung capacity.
Co-director of Music for Wellbeing CIC, Liv McLennan said: It is such an honour and a privilege to be included on this shortlist alongside these other amazing projects.
"Everyone at Music for Wellbeing is incredibly pleased that Sing and Breathe Wiltshire is being recognised as a great way not only to improve lung health but also to build community and friendships."
