A person was bitten by a dog and a cyclist was chased by two dogs in separate attacks near Warminster.
Police are urging owners to keep their pets under control after the two incidents in the Shearwater and Cannimore Woods areas.
Officers say the number of incidents is increasing.
A spokesman for Warminster Police said: “There have been an increased number of reports received of dog walkers not having their dogs under control on a leash.
“One of these incidents has led to a member of public being bitten by a dog which was not under control. Thankfully on this occasion the member of public did not require any medical treatment.
"Another incident led to a cyclist being chased by two dogs.
“We want everyone to enjoy our wonderful area whilst out and about with their four-legged friends.
"We are asking dog walkers to be aware of their surroundings and to ensure that their dogs are under control at all times and that it is an offence failing to keep a dog under proper control.
“In these incidents, both persons in charge of the dogs were walking a large number of dogs. Please ensure that you have means to control all the dogs in your charge.”
