DRIVERS are being urged to avoid Bradford on Avon this morning after traffic lights got stuck on red.
The whole of the town centre is gridlocked after traffic lights for road works on Market Street and Masons Lane failed.
The situation is causing chaos as all major routes into the town are gridlocked with drivers trying to get through.
The traffic light failure is affecting traffic using the A363 Bath Road, Mount Pleasant, New Road, Springfields, the B3017, Silver Street, St Margaret's Street, the B3109 Frome Road and the Trowbridge Road.
It is not known when the fault will be rectified.
