Two people are to be charged following a police investigation into an online donation page set up to raise money in memory of the four young victims of the Derry Hill fatal crash.
Officers carried out detailed enquiries into the GoFundMe page Jordan, Corey, Matt, Ryan Memorial, which was established following the crash on the A4 in August last year.
Kyle Saunders, 18, of Blackbird Court, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is due in the dock at Swindon Magistrates Court on December 1 where he will be formally charged with fraud by false representation.
Jason Macdonald, 37, also of Blackbird Court, is due to appear on the same date to be charged with acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
He also faces unrelated charges of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of cannabis.
Police said the families of the crash victims, Ryan Nelson, 20, Corey Owen, 19, Matthew Parke, 19, and Jordan Rawlings, 20, who all died in the crash, have been kept updated on the investigation throughout.
