TWO Neighbourhood Plans have been approved following referendums in Wiltshire.
Southwick, and Lyneham and Bradenstoke residents have voted to approve their respective Neighbourhood Plans.
Neighbourhood Plans are documents designed to give communities a say in the development of their local area.
The votes took place on Thursday, September 30, and there was a level of disruption to the Southwick vote following a serious assault at the original election venue the night before.
In Southwick, 576 people voted in the referendum of an electorate of 1,639 – a 35.14 per cent turnout.

Of those 367 voted in favour and 68 against the neighbourhood plans.
