A MAN was reportedly stabbed in Southwick last night (September 29), which has also forced a venue change for the Neighbourhood Plan vote.
Wiltshire Police were called to Southwick, near Trowbridge at 9.50pm following reports of disorder at the sports and social club.
A man was rushed to hospital with injuries which are believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Trowbridge Police said: “At this stage no arrests have been made, but officers, assisted by the police helicopter, are carrying out detailed enquiries.

“We are aware that people living in the town will notice a police presence and we want to provide reassurance that there is not believed to be any risk to the wider public.”
The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene at 10.12pm.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: "We attended in our helicopter and assisted on scene; the patient was then ground escorted to Southmead Hospital by a neighbouring air ambulance service."
Great Western Air Ambulance also attended the scene in a rapid response vehicle.
A GWAA spokesman said: “Our critical care team were called to reports of a stabbing in Trowbridge at 10.12pm.

The police added: "Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log 300 of today."
This morning, the polls were due to open at the village hall for the Neighbourhood Plan referendum.
But because of the major incident, Wiltshire Council has been forced to move the voting venue to St Thomas’ Church before being moved to the scout hut.
On social media, the local authority said: “For those voting early in the Southwick Neighbourhood Development plan referendum, unfortunately we are unable to use Southwick Village Hall at short notice for reasons out of our control.
UPDATE ON THE BELOW: We’re now relocating to the scout hut for part of the day. Thanks for bearing with us 😊 https://t.co/zrSskTESNo
