POLICE are trying to find the driver of a vehicle who disappeared after a head-on crash in Trowbridge.
The driver is understood to have left the scene of the accident on the bend of the Ashton Road between the A350 and Stoney Gutter.
Police said: "We responded to a road traffic incident at 11.30am yesterday at Steeple Ashton, Trowbridge, involving one lorry and two cars.
"One person reported minor injuries. There were no arrests made at the scene.
"One of the drivers appeared to have left the scene of the accident when our officers attended. Our enquiries continue."
Two vehicles - a silver Ford Focus and a silver Honda Civic - were involved and emergency services were called. Police are investigating the accident.
It is understood that a police dog unit was called in to help find the driver who left the scene but failed to locate the person.
