Arju Miah, of the Taj Mahal restaurant in Chippenham is one of a number of restaurateurs in Wiltshire organising a series of fundraising charity events in aid of the Bangladesh Cyclone Sidr Disaster Appeal.
Cyclone Sidr struck Bangladesh's southern coast in November last year claiming approximately 15,000 lives.
The Bangladeshi Association in Wiltshire has responded to the challenge of helping alleviate the suffering of people affected and British Bangladeshi people living in Swindon and surrounding areas have already donated £10,000 towards the appeal.
Mr Miah will host an event at the Neeld Hall, Chippenham on January 27 between 2pm and 4.30pm.
Abdul Motlib, of the Assam Restaurant and Mr Harun, of the Mogul Tandoori in Trowbridge are hosting an event at the town's Civic Hall on January 27 between 12.30pm and 3pm.
Similar lunches are being held throughout the county. Advanced booking is essential, admission is free and people can eat as much as they like for a donation to the appeal.
