FIFTY Year 9 students from Abbeyfield School, Chippenham and 50 from St Joseph's Catholic College, Swindon have worked together to hold a joint workshop entitled languages making businesses work.
Teams had to decide on two products to sell at a Christmas market in Paris and prepare product advertising in either French, German or Italian.
Business and language teachers from both schools and David Baker, of Labyrinth Training, ran the event.
As well as having the opportunity for networking and teamwork, students also exercised their presentation skills as each team brought their product to market.
The event was part of the World of Work programme that prepares students for the workplace.
