WALKERS are being urged to book now for Bradford on Avon’s 9th Walking Festival which takes place from September 3-5.
The weekend festival is only six weeks away and you can start to book walks on Sunday, August 1.
Richard Craft, chairman of Bradford on Avon Walkers are Welcome, said: "There will be 15 walks altogether and most are on the theme of Woodlands and Wildlife.
"They range from 1.5 miles up to 12 so there should be something to suit everyone.
"Each day there is at least one all day walk of over 10 miles, a couple of half-day walks and a themed walk.
"There will also be a rare opportunity to join a guided tour of Avoncliff Wood, which is not normally open to the public."
Several of the regular walks sell out quickly, particularly the bat discovery walk and wild food foraging, both led by experts.
Others include a tea and cake walk on Sunday afternoon or a Tongue in Cheek Trek around the town led by a local entertainer.
You can view all the walks at www.walkbradfordonavon.org where there are instructions how to book online.
Please be aware there is a 'no dogs except assistance dogs' policy for all Festival walks.
