THE Wiltshire Game & Country Fair makes a welcome return to the Bowood Estate near Calne next month.
The two-day fair - which usually attracts 10,000 visitors - was cancelled last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organiser Mark Hume, of Ashbourne-based Living Heritage Events Ltd, said: "We're hoping to get close to the 10,000 again this year, spread over the two days."
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, August 14 and 15, from 10am to 6pm, the event is billed as a "really good day out" for families and country people.
It features a jousting tournament, a craft village, a food show, and lots of country sports, including falconry, lumberjacking and chainsaw carving.
Tickets for adults are £15 and for OAPs £14, and for children £4. Family tickets are £36.
