The owner of a Warminster kebab shop is due in court today charged with selling food unfit for human consumption.
Cuneyt Ascioglu of Speedy Chef in Weymouth Street faces 12 charges relating to breaching food hygiene regulations - including not controlling pests and flies.
The charges relate to inspections carried out at the take away store in August, September and October in 2019.
Charges include failing to effectively clean and where necessary disinfect food contact equipment with such frequency as to avoid contamination.
He is further accused of failing to protect food at all stages of production, processing and distribution of food against any contamination likely to render the food unfit for human consumption.
No plea was listed in court papers.
