Animals and staff at Longleat Safari Park are excited to welcome back visitors from April 12. The estate has plans to re-open the majority of its most popular attractions including the drive-through Safari Park, Koala Creek, Jungle Kingdom, Adventure Castle and Jungle Cruise.
There will also be a series of exciting new outdoor exhibitions launched throughout the year, alongside an events programme.
“The safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and animals remains paramount and we have implemented diligent hygiene and distancing measures to ensure everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and secure environment,” said Ceawlin Thynn, Lord Bath, executive chairman of Longleat Enterprises.
“All of our staff and many of our animal residents; particularly the monkeys, have missed the chance to interact with people.
“Lockdown has been a huge challenge for us all and we are delighted to offer a welcome escape and the opportunity for people to relax and enjoy themselves again."
Many of the food and retail outlets will be reopening, however Longleat House and some of the indoor attractions will initially remain closed.
There will be a limit on daily capacity to allow for social distancing measures. All visitors will need to pre-book online prior to arrival.
Places will be available on a first come, first served basis. For full details on the latest re-opening plans and how to book visit https://protect-eu.mimecast.com/s/0Vp5CANLLFA3klXUGJUNi .
