Marlborough businesses have been given the opportunity to decorate their windows with the same lights that will illuminate the town this Christmas.
Following the success of last year's lights display - generally recognised as the best for many years - a co-ordination scheme has been launched by Marlborough Christmas Lights Association.
The initiative enables owners of premises to buy lights that complement the town's display from Festive Lighting, the company that provided last year's illuminations.
Peter Davison, president of Marlborough Chamber of Commerce, said: "Last year's lights display was one of the best in the south west and really put Marlborough on the Christmas shopping map. This is an excellent way for business people to buy into the success of the town's light display."
Martin Cook, chairman of Marlborough Christmas Lights Association, said: "By investing in shop lights from the same manufacturer, the whole town will become a co-ordinated extravaganza of crystal white and electric blue lighting." Four lights options for shop and business fronts, ranging in price from just £60 to £200, were available to order by October 31.
