Members of Frome Chamber of Commerce were given a presentation by Lynda King, lead officer, Trading Standards, Somerset County Council at a lunch meeting at Orchardleigh Golf Club on the outskirts of the town.

She provided a brief overview of the responsibilities of the department and an update on the latest scams and on how to avoid becoming a victim.

  • Frome Chamber of Commerce has elected Stephanie Little as its president for a further year.

She is supported by Ian O'Connor as treasurer and new vice-president Martin Short.

The elections were made at the chamber's annual meeting.
