A Turkish language food hygiene training course is being organised by West Wiltshire District Council.
The afternoon session, on November 7, follows guidance set down in Safer Food, Better Business', which is the Food Standards Agency's approach to food safety management.
Principal environmental health officer David Bardwell said: "There are many kebab houses around the district where the owners and staff speak Turkish as their first language. Providing this training will give them confidence in food hygiene."
The district council is responsible for maintaining food hygiene standards, with regular inspections held in all premises that prepare and sell food.
It runs food hygiene courses as required and provides updates on legislation changes to local businesses via newsletters and mailings.
