POLICE, who arrested a Devizes woman on suspicion of theft and assaulting two emergency workers, say she has now been charged and released on conditional bail.
Rachel Ellis, 30, of Moyne Close was arrested in Devizes on December 23.
A police spokesman said: “The Devizes woman has been charged with multiple offences and is due in court in January.
“She has been charged with theft from a shop, two accounts of assault by beating and two accounts of assaulting an emergency worker.
“It follows her arrest in the town on December 23.
“She was released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on January 24.”
