A WOMAN was left shaken after a man tried to snatch her mobile phone in Shrewton just before Christmas.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Monday, December 23 when a woman in her 20s was walking along Shrewton High Street, near to the junction with London Road.
She was approached by a man who tried to snatch her phone from her. The woman resisted and the man fled the scene.
He was described as white with dark brown hair, clean shaven, in his late teens, about. 5'6" tall, of skinny build and was wearing a black tracksuit jacket with red stripes on the shoulder.
Although shaken, the woman was unharmed. Wiltshire Police said: "If you heard or saw anything suspicious or have information to help us, please call 101 and quote crime reference number: 54190126870."
