WILTSHIRE'S weather today will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain spreading from the west.
The rain will ease this afternoon, perhaps with clearer skies for a time this evening.
The rain will be heavy at times, pushing north-east across the country and accompanied by brisk winds.
In the north of England and Scotland, snow or sleet is possible for the high ground for a time.
Tonight, another area of rain will push into western and southern parts of the UK, this rain could be heavy.
Further north and east it will become mainly dry with some areas of mist and fog. Highs of 10°Centigrade and a low of 7°C.
Tomorrow, northern parts of the UK will be mostly cloudy and windy with spells of rain, which could be heavy.
Further south it will be mostly cloudy with some light rain or drizzle for a time.
The outlook for Saturday to Monday shows low pressure to the north-west of the country.
This will bring brisk winds over the next few days and it will feel mild.
Saturday and Sunday will be largely dry with some sunny spells for England and Wales, but Scotland and Northern Ireland will see further spells of rain.
On Monday, southern areas will be mainly dry with some spells of sunshine, but the north will be wetter and cloudier.
