Drugs bust
FIVE youths were searched for drugs after being found in a property being renovated in Craybourne Road, Melksham, at 9.21pm on December 13. One youth was found with an amount of cannabis. Enquiries are ongoing.
Assault arrest
A MAN in his 20s from Melksham was arrested on suspicion of assault on another man and a woman following a disorder in Bank Street, Melksham, at 11.40pm on December 13. The man was later released under police investigation.
Cable ties cut
FOUR cable ties holding a Beware of the guard dog sign to a gate were cut in Newleaze, Steeple Ashton, on December 14, leaving the cable ties and sign on the ground. The vandal also moved a large heavy steel bin from the middle of the front garden next to the front door.
Vehicle damaged
A VEHICLE was damaged between December 12-15 in Elizabeth Close, Melksham, when a vandal partially removed one piece of the locking mechanism on a security wheel clamp.
Passport stolen
A sports bag, clothes and child’s passport was stolen from Merlin Way, Bowerhill, between 2.30-4.30pm on December 16.
Cabling nicked
A MAN stole cable from three bins outside a business in Kingsbury Square, Melksham, between 5.45-6.05pm on December 13.
Door damaged
BETWEEN December 13 and 16, a yob damaged a garden door to a property in Dorset Crescent, Melksham.
