Chewbacca was at the Reel, Chippenham, on Friday
STAR Wars fans in Chippenham were in for a surprise on Friday as Chewbacca visited the cinema.
John Gallacher, who is a member of charity costuming group MK Garrison, dressed up as the lovable Wookie and pleased cinema-goers at the Reel as they went to see the new Rise of Skywalker film.
MK Garrison can often be seen at carnivals across Wiltshire donning costumes of characters from the popular space franchise.
Leanne Homewood, from Westbury, managed to grab a photo with John and his Star Wars pals outside Trowbridge Odeon on Saturday.
JJ Llewellyn met Chewbacca and a Stormtrooper at the Reel cinema on Friday.
