MORE Post Office services will be available to people living in Trowbridge as another counter has been opened in Diamond News.
Mike Williams, now blind former chief executive of Wessex Chamber officially opened the new sub post office on Wednesday morning.
He spoke congratulating the owners of Diamond News, Kathy and Bill Wylle, and welcomed the opportunity to thank the couple for the service they give to the community in that part of town.
He said : "They give excellent service and I wish them well in their new extension to their business."
The branch in St Thomas' Road will be open seven days a week.
The opening follows recent complaints about waiting times at the WH Smith counter in Fore Street.
Matthew Walls, Post Office Change Manager, said: “We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office will ensure easy access to our services.”
