THIS January, the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon will once again host the Bradford Roots Music Festival, featuring exciting local talent, crafts, dance and food from around the world.
With music ranging from folk to jazz, bluegrass, world and everything in between, there is something for everyone in this year’s programme.
Taking place on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January 2020, the Festival will be catered by JC’s Kitchen offering Filipino street food and more.
The Peculiar Gin Company will provide the Gin O’clock Bar on Saturday evening from 6pm, and there will be fine craft ales available from the event sponsor Box Steam Brewery.
The weekend will also feature an artisan fayre, face paint and glitter artists, and a craft room for younger visitors.
Announcing the full lineup for the 2020 Festival, the Founders and Programmers, Lisa and Chris Samuels said: “Bradford Roots really is about the best of Bradford, and every year we are amazed by the wonderful new talent we uncover. We are very excited to present this year’s lineup.”
Headline acts on Friday include the soulful jazz pop of The Louie Miller Project, the honest and humorous country stylings of Dirt Road Project, and the catchy tunes of returning performers Verdisa with their eclectic blend of rock, blues and reggae.
Saturday will see the dark folk of Maaike Seigerest, Malmesbury’s Ami Kaelyn, the highly entertaining all-male choir Magnificent AK47, Country rock band Billy in the Lowground, and the eclectic piano-based original songs of Will Lawton and The Alchemists.
