UP to 50 children took part in the annual nativity play at Seend Church of England Primary School.
They included very young children in the reception class to Year 2 pupils at the school.
This year's play was called It’s a Party! and was a traditional Christian story of the nativity, with all the usual characters told through narration and song.
Head teacher Jackie Chalk said: "Despite a couple of last minute substitutions due to illness, the show went on and played to a packed house for two performances.
"The second was filmed so that parents and grandparents could watch again at their leisure."
Children at the school have also been busy in the run up to Christmas collecting items for the homeless as part of a reverse advent calendar.
Donations ranging from hats, scarves, toiletries, water bottles and instant snacks have been collected and will be presented to the charity Helping the Homeless in the South West.
