PUPILS from a Chippenham school grabbed their glowsticks and dashed around a muddy course in the dark for charity.
It wasn't just the youngsters involved either as the school opened its doors to the people of Chippenham to also have a go at the first ever glow in the dark fun run.
Every runner paid £1 to tackle the 1km, 3km or 5km route with all proceeds going to Young Minds, a charity aiming to improve young people's mental health. Around £240 was raised overall.
Jessica Pierce, community sports leader for Abbeyfield, said: "I can't believe how many people supported this event and ran through a fun muddy, glow course.
"It was great to see so many people of all ages and all stages, I'm super excited to see this fantastic event grow."
Even the school's headteachers got involved in the fun as Ralph Plummer and Nick Norgrove ran the course alongside King's Lodge primary head Kim Spencer.
Plans are being made for a second fun run next year.
