After a turbulent night with lightning criss crossing the Wiltshire skies during the early hours all is calm again in the county this morning.
It is expected that it will be another dry and fine day with plenty of sunshine once the clouds clear but not as warm as yesterday with highs of 27°C.
But if you are planning a barbecue shop early as by late afternoon yesterday supermarket aisles were looking rather empty of sausages, burgers, buns and other essentials.
Access to the A36 from Iford near Westwood was affected by a fallen tree.
