MICHELLE Donelan MP has become a patron of Semington charity the Independent Living Centre.
Brian Wade, a trustee for the Independent Living Centre, said: "I am delighted that Michelle has agreed to become a patron.
"She has given the Centre much appreciated support since the election."
The Independent Living Centre offers free and impartial advice to elderly and disabled people, providing practical solutions for easier living.
It has an occupational therapist and part-time disabilities benefits advisor, and visitors can try a vast range of products aimed at making life easier for elderly and disabled people.
Ms Donelan has visited the centre and praised its work on a number of occasions.
She now plans to bring Minister of State for disabled people, Penny Mordaunt and other local MPs to see its work.
Ms Donelan is the centre's fourth patron, alongside Lady Ruth Hawley, John Bush and Andrew Murrison, MP for West Wiltshire's other constituency South West Wiltshire.
