Good wishes have been sent to Dave for his recovery by the Village Pump Folk Festival team and has announced that the Strawbs' place on the bill will be taken by rising stars Keston Cobblers Club.
The festival is held at the White Horse Country Park, Westbury, from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, and the Strawbs were due to play on Sunday night before headliners the Oysterband.
Keston Cobblers Club have just released the acclaimed album Wildfire and will be supporting Bellowhead on the first part of their farewell tour in the autumn.
