Pupils from around Wiltshire stepped up for a day of traditional country dancing at Melksham’s Assembly Hall.
More than 170 children from eight schools took a series of lessons with the Melksham Country Dancers last Wednesday.
Chairman Geoff Elwell said: “The children were very good. We do this every year and, although there were slightly less this year, we are quite happy with the turnout.
“I was very impressed with how they did; they were much better than usual and we went through a variety of different dances.
“One of the dances we did involved them going round the room and swapping partners, so the schools got mixed up”
