A donation of £1,000 from The League of Friends of Westbury will help charity Crosspoint continue to offer its vital services.
The charity, which opened its doors in Market Street in 2011, helps vulnerable members of the Westbury community, with counselling, money advice and job clubs at its centre.
The league also donated £2,000 to Stepping Stones recently, raised the money through numerous events, including its annual bingo evening.
Erica Watson, vice chairman of the League of Friends, said: “It is a Westbury area charity which supports vulnerable families and people who need help, whether that’s by providing food parcels or counselling. It also has a popular job club – it is a great cause.”
Crosspoint serves people of all ages and is open for three half-day sessions each week. The job club is every Friday from 10am-12.30pm and the staff are all volunteers.
Jonathan Burke, one of Crosspoint’s directors, said: “Since we opened two and a half years ago, we have extended our services quite a bit and we will soon be launching a money advice project.
“The job club is going very well and we want to keep expanding and helping as many people as we can.
“We are very grateful to the League of Friends for their kind donation.”
