Developers are being sought for the redevelopment of the Adcroft Villa site in Trowbridge, which is for sale by informal tender with Colliers International.
The prominent site on Adcroft Drive has laid vacant for a number of years and now has the benefit of full planning consent for ten new homes.
Ben Meynell from Colliers International said the site was well located close to Trowbridge town centre, train station and local amenities.
Offers in the region of £395,000 are invited by noon on Friday April 11.
Mr Meynell said: “This is a familiar site in a bustling town and consists of smaller new build units that could be suited to first time buyers as well as people looking to downsize.”
The property consists of a large detached house on a 0.28 acre (0.11 hectares) plot within a conservation area. Mr Meynell added: “The property is offered with full planning consent for the demolition of the existing house and the construction of eight two-bedroom houses, a one bedroom coach house and one two-bedroom bedroom flat.
The scheme is not subject to a section 106 agreement or affordable housing contribution.
Full details of the planning permission is included in the Property Information Pack or can be viewed online at Wiltshire Council’s website Interested parties should contact Mr Meynell on 0117 917 2000
