Stepping Stones received a donation of £1,080 from Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce at its annual general meeting last Wednesday.
The centre, for children with learning difficulties and disabilities, based in Broadcloth Lane, Trowbridge, was the chamber’s nominated charity for the year.
A raffle during the Service Excellence Awards, organised by the chamber, which took place earlier this month, raised £774.
Colin Kay, chamber president, said: “We know from the stories in the Wiltshire Times how good this charity is and we appreciate the work it does in very difficult circumstances.
“The awards’ raffle was a major boost and we’ve enjoyed fundraising for Stepping Stones this year.”
A jumble sale raising money for Stepping Stones is taking place at Longfield Community Centre at 2pm tomorrow.
Anyone wishing to donate items can call Teresa Blake on 07747 824119.
