Child arrested following suspected arson at Trowbridge school
A 12-year-old Trowbridge schoolboy was arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire in Clarendon Academy's science block toilets today.
The incident happened at noon with firefighters called to put out the blaze.
They requested that Wiltshire Police come to the school, in Frome Road, to investigate the incident.
They subsequently arrested the Clarendon Academy pupil who is being held in custody at Melksham Police Station.
