Warminster residents are being invited to play a key role in a campus project that will help shape an exciting future for the town.
The Warminster campus is one of 18 projects being created across Wiltshire to bring together services and facilities tailored to the needs of local people.
Campuses will be accessible to everyone in their community area and will feature flexible spaces for Wiltshire Council and partner services.
Residents are being invited to give their views on what they want and need in their community campus in an online survey available at www.warminster.ourcommunitymatters.org.uk
Paper copies of the survey can be collected from and returned to Warminster Sports Centre, Warminster Library, Wave, the youth centre, schools, the Civic Centre and the Athenaeum.
The survey results will be considered by the Shadow Community Operations Board (Shadow COB) a group of local volunteers who report to the area board and who will develop proposals for the campus.
The Shadow COB will also be contacting groups and organisations during March and April to gather their views and to ask them to make their members aware of the consultation which runs until Friday May 16 2014.
Chair of the Shadow COB Cllr Keith Humphries said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Warminster area people to have their say and be involved in this fantastic development of future services and facilities for the Warminster community area and I would encourage people to take the time to fill in this form and be involved.”
Anyone with questions about the Warminster campus project can email CampusConsultation@wiltshire.gov.uk or telephone 01225 718350.
