A Trowbridge man who admitted a charge of assault has been banned from going to a town centre pub.
Fared Rashid, 32, pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Rashid, of Sheepcote Barton, admitted assaulting Paul Tovey-Lemm on Sunday, October 6, last year.
Recorder Alastair Malcolm QC adjourned the case to April 11 to give the probation service time to compile a pre-sentence report.
He released Rashid on bail on condition he does not go to the Albany Palace in Park Road and that he co-operates with the probation service.
But he warned him: "The fact that I am adjourning the case for reports and the fact I am giving you bail is absolutely no indication of what the final sentence will be."
