Police were called to a two vehicle traffic collision at the A36 junction of the A350 near Upton Scudamore on Friday (March 21), which caused one lane to be shut for two hours.
Officers received a call at 7.20pm about the incident, which involved a Nissan Micra and a Peugeot 206. The man driving the Micra was medically trapped, but was able to free himself before police arrived.
He was checked by paramedics at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment. The driver of the Peugeot escaped without injury.
One lane of the road was closed for two hours following the collision, with police reopening it at 9.40pm.
