The Princess Royal will be honouring the cream of Melksham’s businesses when she visits the town next month.
Princess Anne will be at dairy exporter Coombe Castle’s headquarters on Western Way on April 7.
Managing director Darren Larvin said: “She’s opening The Creamery, which is the new site we moved into last year.
“It’s where we produce our extended life creams, so it’s clotted creams, brandy cream and crème fraiche.
“She’s officially opening it as well as presenting us with the Queen’s Award For International Trade, which we had for 2013 but haven’t received yet.”
The company, which exports cheese from Britain and Ireland to more than 30 countries, relocated from Corsham to the former Falcon Interiors site last year.
As well as distributing other products it also produces its own range of creams, which are sold worldwide.
