More than 80 members and friends of Girlguiding Trowbridge Rural District joined together at Brokerswood Country Park near Westbury to celebrate Thinking Day and the 100 years of the formation of the Brownies.
The weather was fine, but wellies were needed to walk around the woods and lake. The Rainbows followed a trail through the woods to find the names of Rainbows in different countries, the Brownies discovered their new Promise on hidden wellies, and the Guides took part in a scavenger hunt and enjoyed time on the zip wire in the adventure playground.
Promises for all the age groups were renewed, and Adult Leadership badges were presented by Rachel Cadby to Beth Davey and Katherine Farrell.
Cake and drinks were provided and following the singing of Happy Birthday to the Brownies, everyone made their way home, after enjoying a very happy afternoon.
Thanks to the management at Brokerswood for the use of their facilities and to the Guiders who organised activities for the afternoon.
